And some of us are also from Charlotte.

What sorts of gardening/plants are you interested in Amanda?

Welcome TDH! I haven't been on the site for very long, but feel quite at home already. I'm sure you will, too.

I'm trying to find a house in the Charlotte area. My house in Ohio was sold in 3 weeks. I can't seem to find one that I like and also can afford in or around Charlotte. The next 4 weeks are critical in getting everything finished. Didn't think it would be so much effort!!! Hope to be in the area very soon.

Good luck Karin, that is an unsettling feeling knowing you HAVE to find something. My kid's home just sold in 4 weeks and they are stunned (although happily) as they had counted on having more time before having to move.

Charlotte has a huge metropolitan area. You might find something less expensive on the SC side of the state line.

Karin,

There're a lot of homes in Monroe, 1/2 hr from Charlotte & Indian Trial, 20 minutes from Charlotte, My kids have one for sale in each......well under $200,000 & decent neighborhoods...look outside Charlotte proper.......

There's also my hometown, Mooresville just across the lake. Don't be fooled by all the $$ at the lake, there's lots stuff around. Best of luck!
