Curry leaf tree

Freind just gave me a curry leaf tree cutting that he (his wife) started for me. I looks good. He said that his wife has been giving away cuttings for years.

Is there anything else that I should know other than it doesn't like the cold. He said they grow pretty fast. I wasn't sure if I needed to put it in a south window, whether it likes dry, wet, or in between, etc.

Thanks. I've got it in south window until I get the stupid greenhouse up. (I'm currently having fun trying to get the area level to put down the base.) It's only about 12 inches tall now, but I understand that they can grow like gangbusters.
