Water Hyacinth for postage?

Porter, TX(Zone 9a)

Does anyone have 2 or 3 water hyacinth they'd like to dispose of that I could take off their hands for postage?

Ocoee (W. Orlando), FL(Zone 9b)

Me too! I'll pay postage!

I'll like a few too, if anyone has any to spare. Thanks!

I'm backing out of this one, I just found out water hyacinth is illegal in TX...whoops.

Good luck to the rest of you and if no one volunteers any for postage, you may want to check out this lady on eBay. Especially if you're just looking for a couple.

Thanks Prickle for the information. I'll check out ebay. I live in Louisiana, and grew them several years ago. They must be legal in Louisiana as I've seen them in the past at a near by nursery. I'll check just to make sure. Dollie

Hi to everyone. I have just signed up to Daves site. I am having trouble with algae in my goldfish pond. It just started this summer. I have had it since the end of last summer. I have some barley pellets in it but that takes a while to start clearing things up ,I was told. I have goldfish plant and also snails, so I want something that will not harm them. My dog occasionally drinks from it to. Does anyone know of anything that works really good that want harm the above
