i have typical mint-smelling mint. as you can see i don't know the species name :-) i assume it's garden mint or peppermint?

it hasn't seeded yet, but i could send cuttings or divide a clump or two :-)

Oh nana, how that must have broken your heart. I wish I had some mint seeds, the sweet, spicy basil I got
from our sweet mystic, is about to
have some seeds. I'll send those
and part of the basil plant as well.

Herblady, I have mint growing that I am pulling out (I don't know what kind it is either, it was here when I moved in & I want some flowers in that little bit of sun in my back yard! Let me know if you want them, I plan on pulling the rest out early next week. (they have grown through (or around) that weed block plastic & gravel the previous owners laid down. Julie

Nana! golly-gee I know just how you feel. the past three years I've been a mint fanatic . every spring I would replace the ones that died ,then get a few others. the heat and the grasshoppers finished them off early this year. My favorite was the chocolate mint. all I HAVE NOW IS LEMON BALM AND IT SURE IS LOOKING PUNY. OH! I FORGOT ONE , CATNIP. No seeds yet. I tried adding to the trade list but my seed source was already offered by someone else "tink"
