Well! I reckon I shudda researched before I asked such standard questions...sorry.

After reading on the Tillandsia International website, I believe I've found my answers.

Would still like to know what the bloom will look like...if it ever DOES bloom...LOL!

Although pups are sometimes a sign that "mom" is ill, plants sometimes pup for no apparent reason. Tillandsias are rather meager puppers so be glad you will have some new plants to play with. I assume you will be mounting the plants on some kind of wood. I like cork bark, but any kind of rot resistant wood will do. I mount mine using Goop Marine adhesive with some florist wire to hold the plants firmly until the adhesive sets.

The Momma looks pretty healthy to me...maybe she's just happy...LOL

I've got just the slab of cork for this plant.
