My Grandmother made the most awesome homemade Tomato soup when I was a kid.she made it with chopped(stewed or canned) tomatoes,milk and baking soda. Does anyone have a similar recipe????? I have missed this favorite for over 30 yrs and really would like to recover the recipe.She came From Canada if that helps. Was a light red to milkish color with chunks of tomato floating in it.A pat of butter and I was in heaven!! Someone help rekindle my childhood. LOL

P.S. it was always served in a blue willow ware bowl, which I inherited from my Mother.
