Many said they would, only 4 have sent envelopes.

Please make them bubble envelopes. I have gotten 2 requests with regular business envelopes, they don't work for large seeds. These seeds are free, I really don't feel like buying envelopes.

Hi Dale, what kind of flowers are those? Those are so pretty.

Also which kind of castors do you have?

I received my seeds from you today. Thanks so much. They are greatly appreciated.

DEMinPA, I am glad they came through, I hope they give you a great show this summer.

Connie, those are Disacias, a winter annual here. They are a low growing bedding plant that is trouble free for me.

My castor seeds came from a company that I no longer do business with. I got them as a Mixed Types package. They have larger than average leaves, darker green color and the seed is a solid black (most I have grown in the past had speckled seeds). It grows very fast compared to most types that I have grown, it grew to 12 feet in 3 months. And I have an endless supply of seed, they are evergreen trees here-see the above photo taken in early Feb.

Dale, am I too late to take part in your generosity?
Let me know, and I will send Sasbe right away.
Also, I think I need to move to Tampa, if those are your "winter annuals" LOL
Thanks!
Jackie

Jackie the supply is truly endless. Just mail a bubble envelope to me, with two stamps inside. I will cut off the end of the envelope, insert the seeds with a second layer of bubble wrap, tape that baby up and paste a new label on it---then off it goes. I am working on my karma.

Here is one of the places I shop, after all I am Dale, the gardener. Need me to come by and replant your annual beds? I have very unreasonable rates.

I sure hope some of the folks who got these seeds will post photos in the fall. Time to wrap this one up for the season. It is getting late and all the big healthy seeds have been sent. I hope that next year someone will take my place as a provider of castor bean seeds for free.

Hello again Dale, Is there another name for the Disacias, I tried googling it and couldn't find any info on them at all.

Thanks Connie

Misspelled it try Diascia.

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

Yep that worked, Thanks a bunch :o)

Who sent the request for seeds from Weston FL? I have no idea what seeds you want.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Dale;
I got several of those Castor Beans germinated from seeds which were sown this winter. They're great. Giving it lots of sun, it would grow to be big and beautiful. The Diascia are lovely. I use them as Pot-fillers, and they dress up those vertical growth plants beautifully.
SASBE? what does this stand for? Stamped...something, something? I'm new to this term.
