Convert a cda to wav?

Anybody know if I can?

PC won't recognize a cda unless it's directly on the cd... in other words, it won't let me grab cda's, dump them on the pc, and burn them to another cd??

I'm trying to make a "favorite songs" CD, and need those cda's.. HELP! :)
