Now those are just awesome! Do you think they were a bird dropping? ROFLOL :~)

Portland, TX(Zone 9a)

aren't they just lovely; seems they like shade and probably require daily watering.

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

Also they flouish if they get daily feeding and loving. I've got a few...once in a while they end up in pots...so cute, but hopefully there's not any garden plants growing there before they find the pot!

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

well this is a first....2 in a pot at the same time...also they are enemies..; thank goodness i haven't planted anything in them yet...but within a week i will have them full of plants....

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

Never seen such a craaazy indumentum on a plant before! ;)

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

Yeah, you might want to pull those out, right now. They're an extremely invasive variety, I hate to say.

mac since there are 13 more....i think that they are EXTREMELY invasive....why didn't you tell me years ago!!!

tosaho what the heck is indumentum??

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

And, they are actually blooming! So cute. Tks for the neat pic.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

We took a similar picture today of one of our cats in a pot. It was a pot that I planted for the cats though, hoping they would enjoy it. It was catnip. Sometimes he rolls around in it.

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

Indumentum is the hairy covering on leaves. It is probably the only specific horticultural term I know, and I am not sure why I learned it! :) Anyway, the cats are cute...

Portland, TX(Zone 9a)

At least your cats sleep in pots; my cat has used them as a litter box before . . . flower beds too . . .

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Too funny! I have problems with that variety popping up everytime I have a basket, box or anything with sides sit on the ground or floor too long! Precious!

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks for the good laugh ~ needed that one!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

lol...great photos...sticks.. :)

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Cats are adorable, aren't they? They do the cutest things, I just love mine.

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

frost...they are quite amusing most of the time...and i cant understand what is the deal with these pots....(except for the fact that i havent planted in them yet and everything else is planted....but i was most amazed that these 2 arch enemies are in the pots at the same time.....never happened that 2 cats were in these pots at the same time either....so it was a double wierdness they did....

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

I've had a few of those here, too. It seems to explain why the "other" plants in those pots didn't seem to be doing so well!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Those are some wonderful varieties you have growing there. Are they volunteer plants??

Don't kitties bring such fun and joy to our lives?

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

stephanie...they are the cutest...just love them furballs:)

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!!!!!!!

PUSSY WILLOWS. LOL

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

And here all these years I thought it was Catnip,
silly me.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)
