1. i planted my glads in mid june. lots of green. will they still bloom and when?
2. i planted peacock orchids the first part of june, lots of green, getting stronger each day. no blooms yet. will they still bloom?
3. i planted freesia bulbs, same time, i just got my first sprout. i had just about given up hope. i planted according to the package. keep the ground moist. any pointers why there taking so long?
4. i planted anemone de caen about the same time and i've gotten no action from them. i soaked them, as they said to too. why arn't they doing anything? they are in a full sun area, 2 inches deep. any suggestions?
i waited until after frost, may 31st, zone 5 to plant my bulbs. is this right, or can they be planted earlier?
i used bulb fertilizer with all when i planted them. i'm watering, and hoping for results. there was another set of bulbs i also planted, can't remember there names at the moment but they are the tiny purple flowers on rounded spikes that flower from the top down. no action on these either. what am i doing wrong?

bulb problems
1-Your glads should bloom soon, be patient.
2-Peacock flowers bloom later in the summer, since you planted them late you might have to wait till September. By the way, they aren't orchids but are related to glads.
3-I have never grown freesias in the garden but again, since they weren't planted until June you'll likely have to wait, if they bloom at all.
4-Anemones are generally considered spring and early summer bloomers. I doubt they will bloom for you this year. They should be planted early.
Unless you are planting tropical bulbs, which none of these are, you do not need to wait until your last frost. In fact, June is way too late for everything except the glads especially in your part of the country were fall frosts can come early.
This collection of bulbs sounds suspiciously like a Michigan Bulb Co. offering. If it is, you likely received small and/or dried out bulbs that will probably not bloom no matter what you do with them.
