I put my feeder up last week, and this evening at about 8pm, I spotted my first hummingbird! The best part of it---I was on the phone with my Mom and was able to tell her that I just spotted my first hummingbird. She'll be putting up her feeders in the morning.
She said she's jealous.... Mom said, "first you get the Bluebirds, now you have the hummingbirds." :~)

I'd better get busy making hummer breakfast tomorrow morning!
It was very near dark--right around 8pm. I was so surprised and very happy to see him so late in the evening.
I'll be out in the morning to see if I get more visitors. I'm glad they are back--I'll be putting the rest of the feeders up on Thursday!
Did you guys see in the other post about First Sighting that I saw my first one late this afternoon?
