I've got some very small sprouts of Brug's that I just transplanted into 2 inch pots and wanted to know if anyone has used superthrive on their brugs and what is the dose ? Don
anyone use superthrive and how much?
i tried it i think once few drops in gal water think says on bottle. good luck.. miracle grow maybe better, someone who knows all about brugs be along..
Ive used the same dose as Hope for plants and cuttings and I have also added it to MG. I have never had any problems useing it.
super thrive is not a fertilizer but supplements the fertilizer.. you use both. I just recently started using it. It is waaay to easy to spill out too much when pouring it out of that bottle. I poured mine into a small bottle with a dropper top... much easier to measure and not use to much and waste it.

SuperThrive is good for rooting and newly rooted cuttings of brugs. I use it on the harder to root ones, like some of the Germans I have, with much success. I also use it for plumerias and many other tropicals, where I add a few drops per gallon to the liquid fertilizer. Plain water and ST are good for cuttings, which do not yet need fertilizer. Brugs slurp it right on up!
Using superthive alone for cuttings is great and for seedlins as well. I did a little experiment with it and I planted seeds(not brugmansia's) and used super thrive on half and nothing on the other ones and the ones without superthive were about 2 inches shorter than the other ones in 2 months. I am getting some brugmansia cuttings soon and will use it for them when they get here. I am new to brugmansias so this will also be a sort of experiment.
