Garden talks at the Museum of the Shen Valley in Winchester

The museum offers Tuesday Garden Talks on the first Tuesday of the months April through November. Designed for both the novice and experienced gardener, these programs cover a wide range of garden-related topics. See the Calendar for details about the upcoming programs.

Learn about the fascinating world of the honey bee in this program led by Frederick County beekeeper Peter Schmidt. The talk will include a discussion of how these small creatures shaped the history of the northern Shenandoah Valley area and the important role honey bees play in your garden today.

Free to MSV Members; Non-members: $8 adult, $6 senior & student (age 7-18) . Fee includes admission to the Glen Burnie Gardens at the MSV.
