Always one more request from beginners

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

This is a semi miniature....she looks healthy...but she has outgrown this pot...21/2"....I looked at her roots and the pot is full of roots. My question is: should i trim her roots like I always do when potting up to the next size? She is a very young plant.....
thanks,
gail

Gail,Thats a real cutie! Now I am not an expert as you well know..LOL..But I was always told never repot an av in any pot larger than half the diameter of the plant itself. How wide across is your pretty??.If its 6 inches in diameter it should do nicely in a 3 inch pot.5 inches across..2 1/2 inch pot.I just cut the bottom half of the rootball off and pop it in a new pot with fresh soil.Hope someone who knows more will hop in and tell us if thats correct.I have a few that need new pots too.

I hadn't even thought of trimming the roots and putting it in new soil right back in the same size pot...thanks, Nancy....
