Thanks, folks

Especially Zeppy, your advise about egg eaters and their dirty face proved to be right. I seperated her and a few days later, she layed an egg and promptly ate it. I gave her to the neighbor lady for stew. still dont know what the wooden eggs do, but I have them in some of the lay boxes also.
Thanks again for all of you ladys advise

Glad it worked and her habit won't spread to the others.

The wooden eggs can help discourage an egg eater. Some chickens aren't so smart, of course. So she'll peck at this egg and get nothing, and after this happens a couple of times, she might forget about the whole thing. Doesn't always work, but it seems to help for me.

So glad you found your egg eater! Dirty little rat! I'm sure your neighbor appreciated her for the stew. :-)
