Can anyone ID this?

No idea what it is...or what it might 'do', in terms of bloom...can you help?
Thanks....................

The angle on that photo makes me feel dizzy! Its like looking down a tall building or cliff! lol

I think its a Tradescantia of sorts but hey its tropical stuff so someone else will be able to tell you for sure.

Hey same family though so not a bad guess!

The blooms are very fragrant, hence the name. My callisia has purple shading,
a different look. Plus, I love the way the Callisia's throw out baby plants on a stem.
Much like spider plant or airplane plant.

So...it will bloom AND have a fragrance! Wonderful!

Here's another angle, Mike...sorry I made ya dizzy...LOL!
I wanted you folks to see the leaf formation, so I shot it from above.

BTW: Should I keep the cup full of water, or no?
Thanks again.

I never water the cups and they are doing fine. I don't know what the answer is.

Yes, it acts like a 'spider plant' putting out long legs with a baby on the end. I would send you a photo of mine, but I'm at work and they're at home.

Thanks Linda!
I've only had this plant about a month...I rooted it from a small cutting.
They sure are rapid growers, aren't they?
After reading how invasive they can be, I'll be keeping it in a pot.
