I thought Inca Sun was golden yellow or appears so in Logee's catalog.

I thought so too, and was thinkiing that it will change as it opens. If not I will have to ask the person that sent it to me ....

Wow everyone is questioning my pics! I am going by what they were tagged when sent to me by other DG-ers. I have a lot of unknowns, but these were tagged so now I guess my tagged ones are unknown also! Very discouraging!

Kareoke,
Mine is a double, I will post the pic that shows the opening end when I get home to my computer. I am at work now.

Yardqueen, I am sorry, you did not say it was a double, and it looks like a single, I love the color, mine were very pale yellow

Kareoke,

I know and so are most of the ones on plant files pale yellow. I do not understand unless it is the area or weather or some other influence or unless it is not Golden Lady. Did yours start out pale? I thought maybe it would lighten as it opens. It is just beginning to open...

ok here is the pic I did not get to post yesterday

yardqueen, My Golden Lady hasn't bloomed this year, but last year's flowers were like Doris'. Is your flower the color in your photo? Wow! I didn't expect Golden Lady would get that dark and yellow.

Believe me the source of this cutting I trust to know what she has...

Now the one I thought was Inca Sun I am doubting also. I have Inca Sun, but this one must not be it...I will have to check my other ones to see where it is because this one I do not know. But what I am wondering is ....What is it? I have more pics of it that I will post on another thread asking for HELP!!!!

I will be doing that a lot as my brugs start blooming because a lot of my tags fell off in the bubbler. I know what the possibilites are and so it should not be too hard!

Another of Golden Lady

Yes those are more like my Golden Lady, in fact from the start she was almost white, she did get a light yellow, but nothing like yours, I love the color of that one.

I was quite a shock to see how much it had changed in one day! This also is my first time to experience the fragrance.... Both it and Isobella are fragrant. I found out the other one is Isobella. When Butterfly bloomed, the flower fell off after I took pictures of it. I guess I must have broken it when I lifted it to get pics from the end. Anyway I brought it in and put it in water and it lasted a day or two but never gave off a fragrance. I don't know if it is because it broke off the plant....
