Came across this lil guy in my Setcresea (Tradescantia) Pallida this afternoon. Looked like he had cocooned there and just come out. Any one know what he will become? Or know a good web site where I can I.D. him?

Yes, they do look like foot prints, now that you mention it!
I just looked it up. I was sure that a colorful cat.like that would turn into some beautiful butterfly, but apparently it becomes a rather dull looking moth - after it defoliates a few gum trees. Oh well.
