fertilizing blueberry bushes

Could anyone tell me when the proper time is to fertilize blueberry bushes in Ma.? Thanks

I believe it is June and August.

Why don't you post this question on the Fruits and Edibles Forum? I do know that blueberry's are really picky and don't like too much fertilizer - so you really need an answer from an expert.

I spread ebsome salt around them at this time of the year and get twice as many blueberries come harvest time.
