We just started feeding our hens layer food, and in less then 2 weeks, we are getting 17 out of 21 hens laying each day. The eggs are starting to become normal sizes. What a feeling getting the eggs and they still feel warm from the hens just laying them.

Yep!! It makes you smile! Just knowing that we are a part of something definitely greater than Ourselves and are so proud that we are Participating. So many people never get the chance, or "PooPoo" the idea of doing what we love! Oh Im getting emotional, time to "Chicken Out"! Oh Well You all know what I mean!!!!!!

springtime with chickens is egg-cellent! We are getting about 8-9 eggs per day now ( out of 12) We have two broody hens who are not amused :)
