I am having an awful time with my trees after the freeze! The weeping cherry was doing fine until Monday. Now the leaves are just drooping lifeless. Not brown but lifeless. It looks to me as if it is on the way out. Does anyone know what this could be. Also is anyones crepe myrtle coming back yet?
Thanks

Weeping Cherry Tree
Usually I'd say just wait and see with the weeping cherry. It would probably depend on how long it's been in the ground. Mose weeping varieties have a quite hardy rootstock with a less hardy graft on top. Most likely it's just fine.
We have some foliage here in 7b on the crepes. It seems to have happened rather quickly after the rains we've had.
Thanks tggfisk. I needed some encouragement. I hope my crepe starts soon. It looks so sad.
We all need some encouragement after this crazy weather. My David Austin roses had buds all over. They still have buds, but they're crispy buds! They'll be back, though.
