Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I hope it looks like that because I planted some. I love it.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

This plant also makes a wonderful houseplant in a sunny window, or a potted plant. I grew mine this winter inside and was rewarded by lots of blooms and a ton of seed.

Fair Grove, MO(Zone 6b)

I started this from seed this year so I hope it makes it to the garden ok. It is soooo
pretty and bright.

Madison, WI

I'd love to try this morning glory.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

Anybody that wants seeds, just SASBE...I'm in the address exchange.

Rose Lodge, OR(Zone 8b)

OK, Beth, I've never figured out this part: Is that just a regular business envelope or a padded one?

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

I could just send seeds in a regular envelope...but put two stamps since I will have to include foam padding in it and it might make it heavier.

Rose Lodge, OR(Zone 8b)

OK, I think I'll stick with the tiny padded envelopes. Easier for the swappers & safer for the swappees (did I get that right?).

Akron, PA(Zone 6b)

If you still have enough, may I have some too? If so, I will get an envelope out on Monday for you! Let me know. It looks so pretty. I love the color.

Harlowton, MT(Zone 4a)

Beth, I would love to have some of this- do you have enough left? Anything you'd like in trade?
Thanks,Tena

A million thanks Beth for sharing your MG seeds with me.

U.P., MI(Zone 5a)

Hi Beth,
I love this morning glory. Are all of your seeds gone?

Thanks,
Sue

Rose Lodge, OR(Zone 8b)

I had planted mine before the mail carrier had backed out of the driveway. But so far, no luck. Do they need cold stratification?

(Zone 7a)

Summerkid, most commonly grown MGs rot if sown when temps get cool (although of thousands of species within this family, some certainly do need stratification). EmmaGrace, on the Morning Glory Forum, sent me her notes on germinating Ipomoea purpurea (of which Sunrise Serenade is a cultivar), as well as some others, for me to write up. I need to get Ron_Convolvulaceae's "blessing" before posting this as a sticky on the MG forum. Until then, here it is:

http://davesgarden.com/forums/p.php?pid=3303432

I just sowed Sunrise Serenade on 5/20 using this method, and they were leafed out in their pots as of yesterday. Believe me, I've murdered my share of seeds, and Emma's technique has made a huge difference to my "oops" rate - not only for MGs, but for many other types of seed.

Good luck, all - this is a gorgeous flower

karen

PS - where are my manners? waving at Beth
