I have to gallon pots that that I planted about 50 seeds and I think they all sprouted.When and what size pot should I transplant them.Can I go directly to gallon pots or do I need to start out smaller? Don

Well, I'm no expert, but I start 3 or 4 seeds in a tiny dixie cup, then as soon as I get the first true leaves they go into a 4" pot... and as soon as I see roots out the bottom, I go to a gallon and then a 5 gal. It is said that if you graduate too big too soon, you risk root rot.
This year, I kept so many that several are going to have to bloom before they graduate to anything larger than a 5gal. There is a waiting list for the few tree pots I have and whatever goes in them has to be worthy of keeping first! :-)
