Inflo>seed pod>leafed stem> inflo

New Port Richey, FL(Zone 9b)

2 years ago or maybe 3 I had an inflo, not a very large one only had a few flower buds on it.It Flowered and then a seed pod started to devolpe and then the seed pod dropped off.I forgot about it for a few weeks .Then I noticed that leaves were starting to push out of the tip of the inflo stem.I asked a few people and all said it would eventually drop off because the stalk of inflo's were not viable enough to support that type of growth.Well it continued to grow and put on leaves and looked wierd but healthy.2 years later Well praise be it's pushing out an inflo.
Curious if anyone else has had that happen before. Don

Yeah, I wasn't a believer until I saw pictures of it happening. It is weird looking, but it does happen occasionally. Congrats on the inflo!
