Monarchs are Pupating

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

About half a dozen have already formed a chrysalis! About time...they were eating up about every piece of milkweed I could find.

Well, besides the extra plants I bought, I also took some pieces of Antelope Horns milkweed from the roadside. It was either that or let them starve until I could go far enough to find "safe" milkweed. Now the older cats just line up on top waiting to pupate. If it wasn't for the eggs and tiny cats that turned up on the milkweeds I brought home, I'd have no Monarch cats left soon. But I still have several eggs that haven't even hatched!
