So there I was, walking through Home Depot when this little group of plants screamed"Buy Me". So what could I do but buy 3 of them? Here is coleus "Pink Chaos". I love the name too. I would love to see DG'ers other recent purchases this spring that scream "buy me". tosaho, AKA SandiO
Plants that scream "Buy Me"...
some of my coleus is sitting at the post office....didn't think another day would hurt them.....will be posting when they have time to breathe air ......and take a small look at the sun from a distance..(LOL)
I picked up a Dr. Ruppel clematis at HD last week. It wasn't in bloom, but I have seen pics. It was somewhat of an impulse b/c I don't really have a good place for it without starting the "musical chairs" of transplanting.

Bananna18, that is a pretty clematis. Good luck with it and finding a spot for it. Maybe it will work out well if you squish it in. I understand the roots like to be shaded. In my years of gardening, I have never tried a clematis. I du understand the "no more room at the thing"!

Also purchased the same clematis at HD. Just potted it until I can find a place that meets all the requirements. It has two wonderful blooms now. They had a rolling rack with clematis just crammed in. If I hadn't already purchased too many other plants would have gotten more.....and then....where would I put it. Read a cute quote:
"You can't have everything,
Where would you put it?" author Steve Wright
Sandi, that Coleus is so pretty, I would have bought it too, and banana, lovely Clematis.
I'm weak.....well, weaker for Clematis too, this Polish Spirit from Lowe's said, 'Buy me'. lol

LouC, I think Steve was not a gardener!
Do any of you not think about where you will put it until you get home? You just know it will fit in somewhere! lol
I just bought some of the new Kong Coleus "Mosaic". I looked everywhere for the Pink Chaos and couldn't find it. I love these too though.
