Kathleen, he looks very familiar... lol I have had several of his relatives enjoy breakfast in my pond these last few years. Hope he didn't eat too many of your aquatic friends.

Well, I did promise you some polliwogs, Donna, so I'm trying to protect them. Some of them are nearly to back leg stage. By the way, what are you going to do to save them from your sliders?

Thanks, Murmur and pelletory. My DH took the picture first thing in the morning - he loves water birds and really enjoys their visits. Being the practical one, I try to keep their visits short so we don't lose everything in the pond! lol
