I am just getting my perennial garden going well. I started it last year with a couple of things some of you have shared with me. Obviously, I don't have much to share yet......wish I did.
I do have some Autumn Joy Sedum and some strawberries that will be putting on lots of runners later on, if anyone cares to trade for them. I also have some of the ordinary blueish purple Iris if anyone wants to trade.
I would like to find a few perennial plants that do well in dry, poor soil, as my perennial garden starts at the base of a tree where it is bare. Would be nice to fill in that area. The Sedums seem to do well there, but my Autumn Joy only blooms in the fall. Would like to find
another variety to put there with it that will add a few blooms for summer too. It's a tall skinny tree, so it gets sun under it part of the day. If anyone knows of any other perennial that would be good for there, I'm interested and very appreciative of your help. Thank you :))
Ice Plant wanted.... Or Sedum ground cover
I have some sedems/succulents that I am going to pot up for someone. I started ice plant from seed this spring and would send you some of either for strawberry plants.
I have an abundance of Dragon's Blood sedum--it's a low grower--I could fill a box for postage.
dylancgc, I'm sending you a D-mail. I would like to trade for strawberries.
MudGirl, I will send postage. I'm sending you a D-mail.
I have several different kinds of low-growing sedums. Can send starts of Dragon's Blood, Golden Carpet, Blue Spruce, and a couple of others I don't have names for. Most need sun, but the Golden Carpet really grows anywhere around here, and spreads fast, so that's what I have the most of.
If you'd rather trade, I don't have Autumn Joy and would love to have one.
I have lots of Ice plant cuttings I can send for postage or if u have something interesting to trade for LMK
