Good afternoon! It's so rainy here in NY, I hope some of you are having better weather today. I have a few plants in bud/bloom, and I'm very excited about it, since it's my first year of having flowers. My Lacunosa has been blooming non-stop, my Multiflora has bloomed once and is in bud now, my Bella is in bud, my Kentiana is close to blooming (haven't had that one flower yet), and my Pachyclada is in bud. I'm a little nervous about that one, because last time it was about to bloom it had bud blast.
Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have had this happen to you...where some buds are MUCH smaller than other buds. It's seems that the bigger buds are pretty close to blooming, and the others have stunted. Any opinions/suggestions? Thanks so much.

Hoyas in bloom/bud
Hi Gaby....
The differences in the sizes of the buds forming is fairly usual, at least for me, and often on the same hoyas each time.....
Yes...the lacunosas all have a wonderful scent!!!
Thanks Carol. Nice to know that peduncle is "normal". I've been having bad luck with that Pachyclada. Not only did one of the 8 peduncles have bud blast recently, but shortly after the blast, the peduncle completely fell off. Well, at least I have 7 more...let's see if I can keep them on the plant!
