My plumeria looks like it is getting a bit shriveled

Lindenhurst, NY

I'm worried about my Aztec Gold, the top 2 branches look like they are kind of shrivelling or drying up and feel softer than they used to. Does anyone know what this is from? Am I not watering enough? Maybe every 8 -10 days.

Thanks in advance,
Maureen

With a rooted plant they might need more water yes, Maureen.
Plumeria LIKE lots of water, they just don't like SITTING IN water.

HI Hetty, thank you very much. After I thought about it, I realized my plumeria was dying of thirst. The poor thing had a nice drink this morning, I have to remember now that it's rooted and flowering it needs more water.

One nice thing about Plumeria is that it "tells" us when it's thristy. Then they do spring back quickly once their need is met. :-)

Lily_love, yes you are so right. I gave the plant a good drink, and the shrivelling is now gone. I was very amazed at that. I have to remember to water more frequently than I was.
