Last year there was a gardener here facing lawsuits from her homeowners association as a result of her front yard gardening style. She was shut down from selling on Ebay and faced a huge court battle. I was very supportive of her and hope she is doing well.

YES! Thats her! Someone just d-mailed me her email and I have sent her a message.
I think the thread may have been pulled and that probably felt hurtful to her during her struggle.
One time on a contractor thread I talked about a horrible experience I had with a landscaper to the tune of $7000 and involving killing my trees.. terrible job.. just terrible.. I started gardening and doing it myself after that! I named names and the woman pulled the thread on a search or someone must have told her.. She wrote to have it pulled and to my delight, the admin accidentally posted the correspondence to the thread, which I promptly copied before my post and that one was cut out.. I then called the landscaper and ripped her a new one and told her I was going to put up my own web site with pictures of her work for people to judge for themselves and she shut up in a hurry and asked what I wanted not to....... DG is very adverse to any scandal that might involve someone getting upset and possibly suing.

Unfortunate if that is the case... sad that DG has lost an experienced participant and DGrs have lost an education... sad all around.
