About a month ago, was talking with one of you Michigan gals who lives over by the Gladwin area I think about Timber Ghost Gardens which is a Lily Farm. Can't find the forum it was in and can not remember the name of the gal....I have the information now about when it opens......

Gloria, Got a note back from Darlene Garchow who is the owner of Timber Ghost Gardens, and they open the beginning of May on weekends only. Starting may 15th through May 31st by appointment. Darlene puts out brochure which lists her Lily's and I am sure she would be more then happy to send to you. The range from $5.00 to $15.00. She is very generous with her fans. I will D-mail to you more information as I'm not quite sure if we can list this information for everyone to see. If its ok, then I will post it to this forum....When your ready to go to Timber Ghost Gardens, let me know as I will meet you there.

I will be seeing Darlene at Master Gardener function in West Branch on the 28th of April. I will find out when the best time to see the lilies are at her farm..Looking forward to meeting you.

Excuse my butting into this conversation, but where is this place? DD #1 lives north of Gladwin and she's never heard of it. We are regular visitors at Stone Cottage Gardens (it's quite a drive for me LOL) I've googled for info with no luck.

Timber Ghost is in Prescott Where is Stone Cottage I live about 8 mis from gladwin and I'v never heard of it? I love to viset gardens.

grannymarsh...........Timber Ghost Gardens does not have a website. She is located about one mile north off of 55 on Clark Road. She is in between the Tawas's and West Branch. Darlene has over 470 different daylily cultivars growing. This year she will be offering 380 + cultivars for sale. Her prices are very reasonable. They range from $4.00 to $15.00 and they are sold in 2 fan divisions. I have been to her gardens when they were in full bloom, and she has some beautiful healthy plants.

i had bought from him when building my garden then i went back the 3rd yr and he had sold the whole field to one lady he said. He told me the price.
Yesterday as I was working in the daylily beds-I started thinking how much i could get for all mine! maybe I will sell everything and RELAX!!!
