Dainty Sulphur (Nathalis iole)

Right before the storm blew in today, this little Sulphur came by to nectar the Coreopsis... Would have liked to catch it with wings open, it was a very buttery yellow.

Deb - Oh WOW! What an adorable little fella! I really like his coloring and patterns. I've not seen any like him here in Florida. Nice photo, Deb. Great contrast photo!!! Love the dark background in the first photo with that yellow bloom and the butterfly lit on it! NICE! :-)

Certainly is a mitey dainty lil flutterbye ..

Tis difficult to fetch fotos of them with their wings spread ..
