Does anyone here use a Brother P-touch labeler to label their plants and has anyone who uses this ever used the white type on clear labels? I was wondering if they hold up to weather as well as the Black on clear?
Not really a brug question,.more of a plant labeling ???
I use a labeler that can stamp on metal labels. So far the labels have stayed on. I got this one because the plastic labels peeled off.
What type of labels did you have that peeled off? Trying to learn here :)
The sticky labels don't stay on . Maybe the sprays [ alcohol , oil , food ]and / or sun makes them fall off after 3 or 4 months .
So far my best luck has been / is plastic tye wraps to hold tag on and I cut up plastic cups for tags . Red on outside - white on inside . for longer tags - bleach bottles - 2 tye wrap - one at each end .
I write the names with a crayon in the color closest to plant flower color . I f white then I use black or brown .
Really? That is so odd because so many people I know use them and they stay on fine.. The P-touch specifically.. I can't speak for any other types. Apparently no one here uses the white on clear version. I have had several reports that the black on clear hold up very well but was hoping to paint my markers a dark green and then use the clear labels with white type. I thought that would look nice. I suppose I just have to try it out
I have had people tell me the same . I do mix alcohol with water and spray , with neem , volck and soap to kill aphids , mites and the black smut aphids leave behind .
Like I said it could be a combination of all .
The water here is about 7 to 7.1 , so I use acid food [ azalea , bougainvillea etc ] every 2nd or 3rd foliar feeding .
The labeler came with a roll of red , green , blue white and clear .
It was a present and worked great making my screws , nuts , bolts nails , etc .
One time costco had a pack of 10 rolls of clear , I think I have one full roll left .
