Tropical region forum

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Hello Hibiscus fans! I am trying to see if there is interest in a forum for tropical regions....if any of you would like to see something like this please add your comments to this spot:

I would really like it. Those of us that live in the higher number zones can benefit from a forum that addresses our issues. We don't ever worry about frost, freezing, etc. but, the folks in other zones don't have to worry about salt tolerant plants, not to mention the PHM, Pink Hibiscus Mealy bug.....Hurricane season is just 2 months away and a forum for us may be key to saving some indigenous plants we might have. Great Idea Shari!!! Can we come diving soon??? The weather is Great in Cayman..This forum could blossom into some great ideas!!! Thanks for thinking of us!!

John, can you go over to the thread that Shari's linked to and post your support there too? That's where the admins will be looking to see if there's enough interest to start a forum.

John....would love to trade dive trips with you. We're going to Pohnpei in May and my husband is planning to dive on the sunken portion of Nan Madol...a site of ancient ruins....should be inccredible!

Jenny, Thanks so much for your support....but it doesn't look like its gonna happen. We will talk through the other forums though. It's nice to meet you and I gotta say - I love the name! How did you come up with that one?

Nice to meet you all too...too bad we are not going to get a tropics forum. One day, maybe, when we get internationalized there will be enough folks around the globe!
Braveheart is my greatdane. I have two, the smaller female is Candy, inherited from my grandchildren when they moved away and we couldn't bear to split two such good friends up...
I hope I am not making a forum etiquitte faux pas if I post a picture of them? Apologies if I am.

Can't see as how it would be a faux pas since there are only two in the pic.....oh that was a real groaner wasn't it.... well as my dear friend Emily Latella would say " Never Mind". They are gorgeous! And I'd swear he's laughing at the camera! My brother used to have 4 GD's! When the dogs were in the house, everyone had to hold onto whatever they could find, cuz those tails were deadly weapons!
