Hi All; Someone posted about ultra growth so i decided to try it, just wanted to say i think it's great.some plants that have never bloomed for me before are blooming now. i even called the company to see how often to use it & you can use it as often as you like.Just thought i should let everyone know.

That is great to hear. I tried the elenoar's vf11 for a month or so and noticed no difference, I was very disappointed and stopped using it.
Mrs bonnie, do you use it along with fert, or as a fert?
yes i do, i foliar spray & it works great. i just notified the coopany as to what a great product they have.

How often do you use it?I will try twice a week, i have been foliar feeding once a week but they said you can use it as often as you like.

Well I would say on the average once a week but I do try to alternate with other fertilizers as you are not supposed to mix it with anything else and it is not a complete plant food.
I have a five gallon pail that I keep my fertilizer mixed in and if I have a lot of UG left when it is time to water again....I use it and then will mix up my regular fertilizer and use it...but they do get UG at least once a week.
Am also using it on my orchids but can't say I have seen a whole lot of difference in flowering but definitely can see new root growth.
I also ordered the vial of UG as well as Don said it was supposed to be better yet and I just drop that in a gallon of distilled water and I use that strictly for foliar feeding which I do every watering as well. The distilled water will stop spotting on the leaves.
The secret to the foliar spraying is to use a very fine mister and the you can't even see the spray on the leaves and they love it!
What is the Gessie group that you are on? A friend of mine called me last night to tell me someone was talking about how much she liked the UG....I said is her name Bonnie? LOL....small world eh!

The other group i am on is funwithgessies & i did post there about ug.I have not seen the vial you are talking about, guess i better go look again.But i really love the stuff. I wick water all my plants so they do get there reg. fertlizer & then i spray with the ug.

Actually to ship to the US is free over 75.00 I think.
Oh I never noticed about using it every fourth watering and I have talked to Don on numerous ocassions...better check that out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Will send Don an email about it and ask him.
We pay that for shipping for most anything coming from the US here in Canada and lots of times I have paid that for shipping right here in Canada...it is crazy!
It sure hasn't hurt my plants regardless....

I went back and looked at their shipping charges again. It's free shipping over $50 inside Canada and $75 to the U.S. I just can't buy that much by myself.
I agree that is a lot of money these days for most anyone! I hope someone will go in with you on it.

I bought the little bottle as i wanted to try it first, it was 10.00 + 10.00 for shipping.it is 60 ml. comes with a tiny spoon you use for measuring, it still would last some time as you use so little.

I bought the big bottle and have since purchased another one and I bought four of the vials. Three are going to be for bingo prizes...well maybe two...not sure yet.
I put in a tablespoon in each five gallon pail of water when I use it...so since February 1st of this year my big bottle is down about 1/2 now.
I sure am thrilled with it too.

As i said the bottle i have is small & the spoon is really tiny & all i use is a spoonful in a half gallon container, i hardly put a dent in it.I fill a 24 oz spray botle & spray all my plants & still have about 1/4 left.I know i have about 3 to 400 plants.Sounds like your useing alot or am i wrong?

I want to use it on my non-blooming African Violets. Gorgeous plants and no flowers. Maybe if no one steps up in the next week to order, I will get the small bottle like you did.

No I am supposed to use double that he said. It is that little spoon to a litre of water so you are using about the same as me.
Diane I had some violets that weren't blooming for a bit and now they are blooming their little heads off.
It is worth the cost I think and then some. It is not meant to be fed exclusively to your plants though...but they do stress not to mix it with other fertilizers though. That is why I try to alternate.

Joanne--I just went back to their website and checked for fertilizer use and they say you should use regular fertilizing schedules, but maybe just not need as much of it. UG is designed to enhance growth but will not provide all that plants need to do their best. You have to really search their website to find information, and I will make that feedback comment to them.

Yes indeed....the NPK is 0-0-4........so there is only potassium in it.
The third major plant nutrient, potassium oxide is essential for the development of strong plants. It helps plants to resist diseases, protects them from the cold and protects during dry weather by preventing excessive water loss.
I am also using Messenger on a separate group of NOIDS to see what difference there is.
Actually we have the best of both worlds....Messenger is the vaccine and UG is the vitamin!

I have been using the vial in a 5 gl container and I have noticed quite a few blooms now on plants that haven't bloomed for me in quite some time. Only have had it for 3 weeks now!
