Can Brugs go in full sun?

Philadelphia, PA(Zone 6b)

Hey all-
I keep absolutely drooling over all your lovely brugmansias and dreaming. Just something about those long, graceful flowers, and the longer the tendrils the better (I love the tendrils!).
But my gardening space (a roofdeck) doesn't have an inch of sun, except for about the first and last hour of daylight. I've read some places that you can put them in sun, and other places that you can't.
Can anyone fill me in on this? Is there a type of Brugmansia that can take full sun better than the others? Any recommendations would be appreciated-
If there is a type that will work for me, I will buy a cutting somewhere if I can find that type. Although I grow a mean perennial and annual garden, I'm not very confident about starting my first Brugmansia from seed. I think a cutting would be better.
Keep all the wonderful photos of your brugs coming- I love 'em :-)

Many brugs can tolerate full sun. I live in south florida and my patio has very little shaded area. Most brugs ideally require dappled sunlight. I can tell you that Rosamond, Pink Beauty, Creamsickle and most of the versi's will do well in full sun provided that you keep them well watered. When potted brugs are grown in full sun they have a tendency to dry out quickly and wilt. Provided with adequate moisture there are many brugs that can be grown in full sun.

Don't forget that some brugs, like the red sanguinea, don't really care for the sun, much - and prefer to be kept a bit cooler.

Xeriscape-
I will look into those types- I haven't seen an ugly Brug yet, so I'm not picky :-)
I spend a LOT of time watering my plants in the summer, as they're all containers in full sun- sometimes I have to water twice a day on a real hot one (Philly gets hotter than a lot of people would think).
Thanks for the info!
