Does anyone have any solution to hens that quit laying? Ever since it warmed up, my hens have gone on strike. Im thinking about hiring scabs..

All chickens have gone on strike because of cold weather..
I have 15 chickens and they are not laying eggs because it's to
cold... Just wait when it warms up they will lay eggs again...

I think you would just be asking for trouble hiring scabs, unions these days to not take things like that lightly. Next thing you now there will be peck'eting and riots
I got it!!! since I live in South Arizona, Ill hire illegal Mexican chicks, until my wife finds out.
That's not good !!! But I don't think hiring people would sovel the
peroblem . I asked the same questions about eggs if they are soft use Oster shells to harden them.. Or if the hen or rooster
moves off the nest be share to move them under the other hens...

I can tell you that around here by June, it is so stinkin' hot, that my hens say "forget it" for a while, and you know, I don't blame them! I wouldn't lay either if it was 110+!

Well, sometime you've just got to set yourself down and admit, you just love chickens. The girls are on full scholarship and that's all there is to it. They'll lay when they are ready. Like my frizzle, who has started laying again. she's been on full scholarship since OCTOBER!!
Ah well, admitting you have a problem with chickens is the first step, right? :)
