Could somebody tell me about this flower? I don't know how it appeared in my garden but it nice, don't know where i should move it.
What it the name of this flower?
It is an anemone, probably St. Brigids. They come in different colors. I think it goes dormant in the summer, meaning the foliage dies back like daffodils so you perhaps might want to mark the location where you move it so as not to accidently dig later. I hate that crunch sound when I accidently slice into a dormant bulb!
My anemone corms died after struggling for 3 years in a poor location with even worse soil. Next time I'll put them in a special place, out of the wind, with a bit more moisture and in significantly improved soil.
