Does anyone use a wind generator? Where I live here in Virginia, the wind seems to be blowing all the time. If there is a low cost way to do this I sure would like to know. It would be used for lighting outbuildings and night lighting outside.

Hey Free... I live in Marion, and our member Virginian lives up near Tazewell. Know him?

Phicks, Tazewell Va. is about 15 miles south of Bluefield Va/WVa in the southwest of Virginia.
Or it is about 70 miles north of Bristol Va/Tenn. Tazewell is on Highway19/460.

Yes there is i have some Solar Power that i hooked up 2 panels and 4 deep cycle Batterys i may buy the wind genrator for 500 or i just might make my own and buy the brackets and pole from that wind store what ever you do do not put one on your roof they are way to loud and your house may vibrate
