Orville Davis

Santa Rosa, CA

Hey folks

I wanted to show you one of Wallflowers offspring. This is Orville Davis and was hybridized by Tom Miller. A bit of a slow grower but nice size flowers to about 7" or so and has a great eye I think. Nice plant as well upright and well managed. This is for you "new" brown folks.

VooDoo magic *sigh*
Where did you purchase it?

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

You know what, Gordo? I had purchased a baby Voodoo Magic that died shortly after purchase. I felt that I was destined to life without Voodoo Magic ;( But low and behold, I was ordering a couple Colocasia from Stokes Tropicals and saw that they have Voodoo Magic! Woo hoo! I was excited since I've had positive experiences with Stokes previously. So, I took a chance and purchased it along with my Colocasias and it's just a beautiful little plant that has already produced three tiny buds - a little pricy I thought, but I've wanted this cultivar for quite a while.

After that long story, if you don't mind paying a little more than normal, you can get it from Stokes Tropical.

Take care,

karen

Thanks Karen!

Bought mine from Stokes Tropical, as well. It was a baby when I received it, but she has grown about 5 inches in the last month. The leaves are luscious and gorgeous. I now have 3 buds on it. Can't wait to see it when she blooms.

Love this time of year. All my babies are starting to get buds :)

Here is a pic of Voodoo Magic, from Stokes Tropical:

Got mine from Stokes, but the entire top half is fungused. I've pruned and treated. Hoping for the best. It did have one flower. :-)
