Wow, that pink is beautiful!!!! I have the red and love it, but didn't realize that the pink was so vigorous. Is it easy to root?

That would probably be a lavender shade, as I don't know that there is a pink firespike.

I'm sure if we could ever find the country of origin we would find that there is a white flowered one. Seems like all plants mutate and white is often a color that appears.

And yes it is easy to root like the red and the best part is the purple/lavender(or pink) blooms for months longer, at least around here. Our red ones are done until fall, the lavender will keep going most of the summer. I just got one, it's about a foot tall. That photo (above) is at a botanical garden.
