My roses are going nuts!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I can't believe how much everything is blooming already. I have La Iris, cupheas, roses, daylilies, begonias, sage, cannas, pentas, lobelias, plumbago.... it's all just blooming like crazy. I guess this mild spring and the rain have set up the ideal situation. Some of this stuff has bloomed all winter!

wowzers! You mean that Feb. blast didn't affect your plants? Mine took a beating. Yours are lovely.

Those roses are absolutely gorgeous! Mine are struggling a little. We had the first bloom last week. I'm with vossner, they took a bit of a beating as well. I didn't really fertilize until mid March either. Hopefully my rose garden will look like yours soon! :)

Yes, they are Knockouts. We just put them in last year. I wish I had waited as I would have preferred the pink/coral Rainbow Knockouts that just came out this year. Oh, well, maybe I need one more bed???? I'm going to try to get a picture of the Iris bed today and post it. I have Louisiana Iris "Jeri", which is a dark purple, with Stella daylilies in front and it's really gorgeous right now.
