"hoyacessories" Any new, fun things?

Great Falls, MT(Zone 4a)

I am not lucky enough to live where a greenhouse is feasible, so I live vicariously through those who are, AND, I buy accessories. Here is a picture of my latest "abhorant" buy - according to DH, (he is sure that I either look for the item he would most despise, or the ugliest......actually I look for functionality for my hoyas!!)

I will have to water my curtisii with a turkey baster, as it is too tight to get a watering can in, and all of my Exotic Angel plants are strictly bottom water recipients, but hey......

I would love to see other accessories if anyone has any pictures to share. I get my best ideas seeing how everyone else houses their plants.

Thanks,
Sara

Here is the fountain that I bought last year.....I am not sure if it is supposed to be inside, but it provides a decent amount of humidity. Adds a little to the feeling of being in a lush tropical paradise, while in reality I live in dry, cold, cattle country!

Thank you Carol. I would rather have what you have HA!!! No one can tell me the grass isn't greener in HI..........But I guess I will just continue to similate "tropical" the best I can. It sure is nice to sit and drink coffee, and read my paper while listening to water, and surrounded by hoyas.

Very beautiful and peaceful looking Sara. I would love to sit in that room too.
I don't have a greenhouse either, but I can leave many of mine outside in winter. I would be in a jungle in the house if I lived where it is cold like you do. you display is very tastefully done. Your hubby should have no complaints at all.

Wow, that curtisii is amazing! I've had mine for several years, and it keeps getting smaller. You know, the incredible shrinking hoya? (I have several). I think it's about 2 inches long now...sigh. I just switched it to shade from a bright window, so perhaps that'll do the trick. You have very nice set-up there.

that plant stand is fantastic and your plants must adore you for their fountain!

hi ---- I am new and reading old posts, why do you water your exotic angel plants from the bottom? I have had some trouble with these, does that make a difference for you?
