Had long ago promised to post a pic of my bloming violets .. today is the day as they are pretty much all in bloom ..

East window .. they LOVE it !!!!

Marilyn, how in the world did you let them get sooooo big...I love it!!!! Everyone keeps saying, pull those suckers out, etc....I like to let everything grow that wants to!!!!

These plants are AGES old .. I have repotted them only perhaps twice in 10 yrs !!

I love my plants .. and have a house full of'em (sorta) :-)

I kill 2 or 3 african violets per year. How do you do it? I have only had 1 rebloom after I bought it. I am determined to someday have some like yours. I do have eastern windows, but a deep overhanging porch that only gets bright sun until about 12 pm. Any advice about water, fertilizer, and sun exposure would be appreciated. thanks. kim
