Rooted brugs in the Fall from Ebay!!!

I ordered 16 varieties from 2 vendors last fall but lost most of it. i had them in the sunroom with a lot of lights. What do you think happened? roots not established enough? Too cold in the room. I appreciate any comments and I will not be able to check responses 'cause I am leaving for Haiti tomorrow on a Mission. Happy Easdter to all Brug. lovers . !! Bellie

Bellie, you didn't provide enough information to make any comments. What was the temperature in the sunroom? Were the cuttings with or without leaves? How much water did you give your cuttings? Were the cuttings kept on the dry side?

I've received cuttings as late as the end of November, but I rooted them in the kitchen and kept them indoors until last month when they went into the greenhouse that is allowed to get down into the 40s. I suspect that your might have gotten too much water.

I had a cutting once that totally shriveled up to a dry stick. I dumped out the dirt and discovered that there were good roots so I repotted it.. It eventually resprouted and grew and was one of my happiest plants
