how tall do brugs get?

Naples, FL(Zone 10b)

I have a couple brugs in my garden. One is fairly new and blooming like crazy while the other bloomed back in February.

The Feb variety is now a rather tall bunch of stalk like branches about 12 feet high with leaves at the top. Do I just leave this alone or cut it back or what? It sits in partial shade.

Also, I read about cuttings. Can I just cat a stalk or pieces of branch and root it like a plumeria? I would use rootone and growing medium in a shade spot that is watered regularly.

Brugs are rather easy to root. If you use a cutting that is from above the 'Y' where the blooms are, you will grow a plant that blooms much more quickly. There are lots of different methods to root them. I have received cuttings that were wraped in damp papertowels before shipping and they already had root 'nubs' showing along the piece when they arrived. I am no expert... I am new to them myself and have managed to lose my yellow and now my pink to stupidity.

I guess no one knows about growing Brugs way up high in a sub-tropical environment. I just dodn't know if I should cut them back or let them reach for the sky.

I will try to root some cuttings. I have plenty of new green growth to chose from.

Here's a shot of one of my plants but I have no idea what it is nor do I know jow you guys can tell one from the other.

Aloha !
I live in Hawaii and the brugs can get to be trees here. Be careful though because the first one I grew got to be about twelve feet high but had a thin trunk. The weight of the flowers was so great that the trunk split in two. Now I keep them at a smaller height until the trunk has plenty of girth to it.
I am going to try to add a photo of a brug growing "up country" here in Hawaii...my husband is 6"2" for comparison.

Last year my double peach didnt make a Y and bloom until it was almost 14ft tall. I had to get and 8ft ladder and stand on the top rung just to get a good view of the blooms and I am 5'9".

Can brugs be pruned to keep them to a smaller size? Will this affect their blooming?
