I'm new to DG but I wanted to let you all know that I have a sourdough web site with lots of recipes and how-to info. In the cool weather, I bake various sourdough breads, (S.F. is my favoriate) Herman chocolate chip cookies and other goodies.I don't have to eat all of it because our daughter and family always want the baked products. I use 1847 Oregon Trail sourdough (and made my Herman from it) that I ordered a few years ago. Good sourdough and I very seldom use yeast. Let me know if you like one of the recipes or if I can help you.
