I am not an expert on anything. I have two plants with the common name of peace lily.
It is sold profusely in the garden centers, grocery store, just about anywhere. I have only seen it grown in soil. Perhaps someone was trying to "start" a plant in water. The leaves are identical to my plants but that is just a long shot. They sent frequently to funerals and when my daughter was in the hospital she got 3. Don't have the slightest idea what the latin name could be. It is the middle plant with the white bloom in the picture. When the leaves first put out they are slim and look like your plant.

Maybe Lisaj should try planting some of hers & see if it flowers. Just a thought.
