Strong Healthy Teeth for a Life Time

Greensboro, AL

Last week I went to the dentist. He suggested that I be a poster person for life time teeth. So here goes. I am a soon to be seventy person (in a few years). So far I have good healthy teeth and bones. Good genes? Maybe, but I also learned good mouth hygene when I did have gum problems several years ago with teeth sensitive to cold. I use a sonicare toothbrush at least once a day. I brush each section of my teach for a count of ten. I hate tooth paste. I use 1 t. baking soda and 1 t hydrogen peroxide in 1 c. of hot water. And I floss every day. When I floss I make sure not only to pull a 'C' around each tooth, but also to massage across the gum between each tooth with the floss. At one point, with a not so good dental report, I complained that I can't always find my floss. My dentist suggested, buy some more! Always have floss available. Don't set yourself up for failure! So the next time I went to the store I bought 6 packages. A few years ago I had my teeth bleached. I see my dentist for plaque removal and a check up 4 times a year. I quit smoking some 30 years ago. I have a lot less plaque since I quit. Oh. Yes. Some times I chew gum. Cinnamon. Red Hot. This is my big flashy smile! (((===))).
